About the Commission

The Science and Technology Commission is one of 10 commissions under the NCWO and the newest. The objectives of the S & T Commission are:

  To co-operate and aid the Government and other agencies in the promotion of science in the country
  To enhance the participation of women in science
  To identify issues and problems of women in Science and Technology
  To promote public awareness of science, particularly the women
  To initiate, implement and facilitate relevant programmes and projects
  To establish a network of women in Science and Technology

Mission
To promote the advancement of women in Science and Technology in the country

Vision
Women are equally involved and engaged in the new areas of science and technology in the development of the country and equal participation at top decision -making levels
