OBJECTIVES

  To identify and prioritise specific issues relating to laws affecting women.
  To propose actions and work out procedures to improve the enforcement of laws
involving all agencies and actors
  To liase with all relevant Ministries and Agencies involving with the enforcement and implementation of laws
  To keep abreast with developments on women's advancement towards gender equality and realisation of their rights in International and National Level.

ACTIVITIES

To Organise workshop/ seminars and panel discussions in order:

  To raise awareness of women at all levels to existing laws and regulations that govern and regulate their lives, through legal literacy

  To educate and inform women of existing benefits and rights they have within the law
  sensitize women on how these rights affect their family, civil and
professional lives.
  To empower women with legal knowledge
  To establish a mechanism whereby women can dialogue with enforcement
agencies on anomalies confronting them.
